I'm looking for a custom wood piece. How would I go about getting an estimate?

The easiest and least expensive way is to take some measurements and stop by our shop. We can then get you a price, proposal, and layout usually within a few days. If you are interested in a new kitchen, it is best if we come to your home to get measurements, before we give you an estimate.

 

What type of wood products do u make?

If its made from wood, we can build it. (And some things that aren't wood.) We specialize in custom entertainment centers, wall units, built-in units, fireplace surrounds / mantles, bookcases, countertops, bars, and complete kitchens, baths, and libraries.

What materials and construction methods do you use?

We use only the finest quality hardwoods and veneers in your project, with the finest finishes applied by hand. All hardware that we use is of the highest quality. Our drawer boxes are made from solid hardwood, with dovetail joints, for extra rigidity. Your piece will be built using the best combination of old world craftsmanship and new technology so that it is sure to give you enjoyment for many years to come.

What types of wood are available?

The most common are Oak, Maple, and Cherry, but we can work with any type of wood for your project, if you had something else in mind.

Is there a difference in price between species of wood?

​​Yes.

​

What about stains and other finishes?

We have different stains to choose from.  We can also paint your cabinetry in any color you choose.  If you have a something specific in mind we can match it.

Why can't I just get a price quote over the phone?

Many factors go into our pricing.  For instance, the size, wood type and other materials, number of doors, type of doors, number of drawers, any lighting, layout, and moulding. It is a complex process and very difficult to do over the phone without face-to-face contact.

Do u have any products in stock?

​​No.  Every item is custom, made to order.

Where will my cabinets be made?

​​All of our cabinets are made in our shop located in Craigsville, WV.

​

What is your service area?

​​We work mostly throughout the East Coast, but are open to other areas.

​

What is the lead time on your cabinets? How long will it take to have my cabinets installed?

It takes about 3-6 weeks before your cabinets are ready to be installed, less or more depending on the size of your project.

What type of payments do u accept?

​​At this time, we only accept cash or personal check. 

​

What is your payment schedule?

Typically, we require  50% up front and the other 50% upon completion.  Depending on the project, we may split this up into three payments:  50% up front, and two 25% payments.

Do you offer financing?

​​No.
